Myspace, has an app. called The Truth Box, where myspacers can leave comments about you, anonymously.
I've never cared for the truth box, because I don't like myspace apps on my page; they're hideous. I have a few friends though who've added this application. I read this one guys truth box and some comments were nice, sweet (too sweet), and expressed their admiration for him, his pictures and whatnots...
but some were mean, immature, obnoxious and just downright wrong.
I start to wonder why they even bothered adding him as a friend; clearly being tortured by the things he say..bulletins, photos, and other things. Why are they so brazen to say these things anonymously. Maybe it was because they were given the permission to say whatever they wanted to without any consequence.
This guy wrote bulletins after bulletins, asking who the person was and if they'd kindly delete themselves off his friend's list. They did neither, but rather, stayed lurking. But, he should've known; it was bound to happen, really. How could people resist? It was an opportunity to release their true feelings; to be honest (sort of) or to just be a pest.
I'd much rather everyone to say exactly how they felt about me, with name included though, of course... so I could know who to watch and who to watch with caution...who to discard.
I'd never really, well fully, discard someone from my life...I might need to be there for them in bad times.
yeah...
