the game tonight
I'm going to feel really stupid writing this but I don't have anything else to write. I was sitting on the bench watching the game when I drifted into this daydream...
I was playing for this team and I started everyday and all the fans were screaming "Widger, Widger!" and I was hitting like .290 so that was great for me. I came up to hit and the bases were loaded in the 9th with 2 outs and we were down by 3. I slammed the ball and it went out of the park, grandslam!...I was overwhelmed with excitement as I was running the bases.
...the next thing I remember is Joe standing in front of me, "Chris...Chris...CHRIS?" I was kind of bummed out but yeah, it was too good to be true.
*sigh*
