Icky the One-st: being stabbed four times for my platelet donation. a couple of them actually hurt quite a bit! luckily, i had taken today off, so it wasn't like i had to run into work after. also, they gave me an extra free Friendly's half gallon of ice cream coupon, which is a clear "WIN."
Icky the Two-st: dealing with someone who professed to be all excited about working at Sterling, then went through a life upheaval and changed her mind, yet failed to notify me of this decision (though i emailed her multiple times) until i contacted someone who knew her and asked them to ask her what was going on... who is now all defensive about me informing her that i would take her behavior into acount when staffing next year. while i feel sympathy for someone whose life has just done a 180, i can't imagine not telling an employer "Oops, can't work for you after all" by the date they're requesting you to pay a rental fee. or am i being unrealistic?

Awesome the One-st: great karate class. boo-yah. i finally feel 'on top' of my kata again.
Awesome the Two-st: not one, but TWO people stepped up to fill in on the day when i would have been one of only two therapists, given the above Icky the Two-st. so now i'm OK-staffed, and might be even better-staffed.
Awesome the Three-st: i saw our new site at Sterling and i'm rather happy with it. if the noise level is acceptable, i think Allen was right when he said we should hold onto it, and try to make it our permanent site. more on that once we've actually worked a couple weekends, and have a better idea of how business will be.
Awesome the Four-st: Chip (our chipmunk) is still around; mom saw him out underneathe the bird feeder this morning. a chipmunk ran across our Sterling site while i was there, which i think is just an awesome sign; you know, there's a rock wall on the back of our site?? (and didn't i just say yesterday i wanted a rock wall?) i also saw another Great Blue Heron today; i've been seeing a LOT of Great Blue Herons (most notably on the day i met with Rena) which are spiritual growth totems.
