Not by choice, but I’ve been up since 3.
The day? A little long. The afternoon commute? Longer than normal, first because I decided not to ride a one-car Green Line train and wait for the next one - which was also a one-car train, not the usual two, oh well - then that Green Line train had a mechanical issue that caused the operator to stop the train more than once, one time for about 10 minutes.
I got home, did the basic getting-home errands, and fed the cat a little early (I’m looking after her at the moment) because I figured there was a chance I’d fall asleep within minutes of getting home.
Naps are wasted on kids.
