Years ago I was in Oxford and in a used book store I found a copy of Dorthy Sayer's Gaudy Night. I picked it up and grabbed myself a plowman's lunch and went to the banks of the river to read my book and eat my lunch. I was sitting under this large very old Oak tree reading about Peter and Harriette eating lunch under a large oak tree at the bend of the river. I looked up and realized I was under the tree she was describing.
