These are my shift notes from work I send them in at the end of every shift...these are today's
Today has been slow, but filled with some work outside of the norm. There was nothing on Astra to set up today, there was just nothing listed until 6:00pm.
Mike had me check all of the projectors on campus for blown bulbs today. The projector in North Ground 6 was blown and I replaced the bulb. There was also a spare and broken projector in N114. I replaced the bulb and it still does not work. I have placed it here in the computer lab as Mike requested.
Today we received a call from the downtown section of school about a broken digital projector. I was sent down with Brian to investigate. The problem was that the projector would not work properly unless the network was connected after the computer had been turned on. We thought this very strange and ran a series of troubleshooting tests. We determined that the AGP Graphics card was not connected tightly and I opened it up and re-installed the card and made sure things were as tight as possible.
This seemed to do the trick as the projector worked with the networked connected when we tried. So everything seems fixed although the original problem still makes no sense to me. Nevertheless, we seemed to have managed to fix the projector and we told them to call if they had problems.
I also opened the lecture halls today but I closed them around 12:30 because they hadn't been used. I also plugged the projectors to the smart podiums in N116 and N117 as Steve requested early on in the morning.
All in all a fairly easy day with some adventure, so to speak.

So I'm done for today, I got to venture downtown, and that was cool. I am gonna go home and call Erin and then take a shower, maybe in the other order, and then we are going to the arcade with her brother and then we should get icecream from Kristi later on.
That's what I think...I'll be here till 4:00, the I'ma outta here!
