Is it bad how nervous I am about a job interview for Costa Coffee? Feels like my anxiety attack fun coming back, which is something nobody enjoys. Why do you even get these? Plus, I've got to consider if working full time in a glorified café is going to be all that fun, but hey, can't be choosey when you got nothing, right?
Only a small update I suppose on the creative front. A small two parter anyways. Our good friend Adam has completed a little jingle for the beginning of the "Friendly Nes" cartoons, and Danny has got the little intro pretty much wrapped up. Still waiting to grab Brandy and get the voice acting done. Second even smaller update, I'm trying to brainstorm an idea for another animation we could do. One with continuing characters/settings etc, but away from Neskin. Would be fun to work on a brand new project at the same time as finally getting Neskin out there.
My day has been pretty regular, wake up, get online and check the usual e-mails and forums, IM people and then get something to eat. My sister Steph got back from her two week holiday today, but without a massive toblerone for me. What's the point of going on holiday if you don’t bring people toblerones back? Not sure where that tradition started, but, it's one I was disappointed to see not upheld. She drove me up to tesco to pick up some stuff that'll make me fatter, so it balanced itself out.
I watched some Home Movies on DVD, and finally got around to re-watching what I used to say was my fave. film, Chasing Amy. Still enjoyable, I wouldn't say it was my number one (though I honestly couldn't tell you what was), and I think Clerks 2 topped it in terms of fave. Kevin Smith films. But, still, an enjoyable watch as ever. Though, I did find where I used to love Banky (Jason Lee's character), with the sarcastic cutting remarks, I found that aspect of the character pissed me off. I think that's just come from changes in myself, I used to want to be that sort of angry fanboy guy, now I'm just kinda going with whatever works.
Well, that's about it, to quote Stan "The Man" Lee,
'Nuff Said.
