Police State USA

Jul 05, 2013 22:24

Been looking around online, and it seems pretty clear that there are rewards in place for individual cops to make arrests. There's also the for-profit prison system which doubtless kicks money back to departments for fresh meat.

Suffice to say, unless you live in a gated community with a Beemer in the driveway, the police are not your friends.

Now, how could they target you? You aren't doing anything wrong, right?

There was a recent story where a college girl was buying a bottled water at a campus store, the time was 10pm. As she exited the store, three plain clothes men approached her and proceeded to grab her. She got away from them and ran to her car, whereupon they pulled GUNS on her. Turns out these defenders of freedom were apart of, and I'm not making this up, the 'alcohol vice taskforce.'

The girl was arrested for resisting arrest, felony evasion, and whatever other bullshit they could come up with. Charges were dropped of course, (I wonder when these sorts of bullshit charges will start sticking?) but this girl's story must serve as a warning that anyone can become ensnared in the new police state.

So, what if you are stopped?

Before I go further, the US supreme court recently ruled that a person's silence CAN be used against you. If you are questioned by police, and you say absolutely nothing, it can be argued that you must be guilty and are not cooperating because you'd incriminate yourself. You have to actually say 'I am choosing not to answer your questions as I feel you are attempting to wrongfully manufacture evidence to use against me.'

If you are stopped on the street and a cop wants to search you or your car, you can respectfully refuse. If they try and become hard-ass, (and they will) you can ask them if you are being detained. They will (until our lovely supreme court strikes down this protection) have to answer yes, or no. If they say yes, you can advise them that if they violate your rights, you will sue them personally in civil court, and that you will target their house and property.

Cops know they can kill you and pretty much get away with it. However, they can still get hauled into civil court. Our rights would really have to crumble away for a cop to become immune to any form or civil liability.

Anyway, what I'm trying to tell you is you need to learn about what's going on, how bad things are becoming, and what you need to do and say if you become caught up in the new american police state.

If a young college girl buying a bottle of water can suddenly face fifteen years in prison because the 'alcohol vice task force' set their sights on her, then ANYONE can get caught up.

Y'all take care out there.
