yesterday's word of the day: chortle

Nov 16, 2004 09:58

today so far has been a horrible hair day, starting with "oo cool this glassjaw shirt goes well with my leather belt and jeans.. and that hair, fabolus." it later turned into "oh jeez.. what are you thinking harry?" then into "i can't even look up at my teacher or at any students. im a loner, and a failure" to "oh if i just keep my hair down, and not fray it out everywhere in an attempt to camoflauge my seemingly glued up bangs, i might not look that bad" to "RESTROOM! NOW! RESTROOM!" to "ahhhhhh... the reflection of my OK hair in the one-button mouse.." to "RESTROOM! NOW" to "okay i've forgotten about my hair." it's okay now. but anyway, i've decided to indulge myself in the luxury and ever-repetative grooves of anything drum and bass, regardless of what other rap-wielding students think. nah... make that emocore. it's very ignorant to only be interested in one genre, maybe even two. i think to be able to appreciate any specific genre, one must broaden their horizons and test the waters, along with their genre. are you only into eastbay punk? why don't you try varekai by cirque du soleil? only into hip hop? why don't you try the beatles? hardcore? try bjork. music doesn't define our image. thuh end.
my parents finally plan on purchasing a suhweet dell laptop and desktop 'puter. i have to decide if i'm going to take the laptop or the pc, if i take the laptop, i won't have to pay for software and it will be 802.11b/g 'patible. if i take the pc.. it's just generally faster and "more reliable" due to the actual 2.80ghz pentium opposed to the 2.20ghz celeron on the laptop. i originally wanted a 15" apple powerbook to compliment my iPod, but we'll have to see. college awaits.
{in addition}
if i were to be stranded on a desert island, and i had cds, and all but two were destroyed in the crash, those two would be the Kill Bill Vol 1 and Kill Bill Vol 2 OSTs. genius music.
