The Quest for Housing
I mentioned that I put in an offer on a house. Well, unbeknownst to my realtor and I, the owner of said house had accepted an all-cash, no-contingency, no-inspection (?!?!?) offer. This had not been reported to the listing service due to his realtor's family emergency. Now, after my doctor's appointment today (routine checkup) I go forth again to find a house.
I Nearly Died, Twice! (Slight Exaggeration)
I had to drive up to Milwaukee and back (208 miles, round trip) for a retirement party. Before I got out of Villa Park, I was twice nearly in an accident. Both events were the same - a car, driven by a female, decided to do a U-turn in the middle of the road, ignoring my approaching vehicle. Fun stuff, Maynard.
