So, I'm back from
Windycon, and back at work. The con was generally a success. For reasons known only to the con-runners, I was introduced at Opening Ceremonies as a "special guest." I'm grateful but I really don't think anybody showed up just because I was there.
My three panels were well-attended, although two of them had additional panelists assigned to them at the last minute. Once a panel gets over five people, it becomes increasingly cumbersome, and I had one with seven and one with eight panelists.
I finally made time to hit the pool at the hotel. It's a bit tucked away on the second floor, but worth the trip. I'm not sure it's a full Olympic-size, but it's close. I hit the circuit of parties on Friday, but due to an early wake-up call Sunday AM, I took it easy Saturday night.
Now, it's back to work.
