Monday
The inevitable has happened - Monday has arrived, right after Sunday, and endeth the weekend. Thus wage slaves like Your Correspondent find themselves back at work. Herewith are a few thoughts on The Weekend That Was.
Writing: I've mentioned that I'm re-writing Space Rescue, last year's project, to be New! Improved! Now With More Pirates! Well, the re-write is done, and the writer's group has it sitting on their hard drives. I have no idea how much we'll discuss / critique tomorrow, but I guess it's at least on the agenda.
Entertainment: I've also mentioned my interest in the reality TV series Top Shot, which is a skills-based shooting competition. The season finale was last night, and I watched it. It was a good show, and the final shoot-out was between two generalist shooters. The last professional, a pistol expert named J. J. Racaza, was bumped out in the intermediate round, ironically on a pistol shoot. Hopefully the History Channel folks will do this format again.
