Nice Guys Finish Last

It is so true! I am so upset/sad right now. For trying to do something nice it came back and bit me in the ass HARD!!
*sigh*
Let me explain what happened. See there is this girl at work named Tania and she has a little baby who is about two years old, and she was complaining that she didn't get to spend time with her son at all because she had to work on Saturday from 745 til three, and she had to wake up her son early and take him to daycare and then by the end of the day he was too tired to want to play/spend time with her. And since I open all week (because I go to school at night) I usually close Fridays and Saturdays so I offered her to change shifts if she wanted to, so she could spend more time with her baby. So I told her if she wanted to to tell the supervisor, Maria, immediately. Um I should probably mention we had this conversation on Monday.
So on Friday Tania said that she had decided that yea we should switch and she told Maria and Maria was fine with it, or so I thought. After Tania left and I stayed she told me that I had better show up on time the next day (Saturday) and that if Tania didn't show up at three that I was going to have to work a double shift. That kinda got me mad cuz WTF not like it was such a HUGE deal for us to switch but whatever! That same night me and my friends went out and we ate pancakes, lol. Don't ask. And we ended up going back to my friends house and watching some tv. I got home around one o'clock at night and put my alarm for six-thirty because I was determined to show Maria that I could/would show up on time! Not only did I show up around twenty minutes early, Maria was actually late! Ha! Take that!
And thank god, Tania showed up right one time, phew! Now this is Maria's first time as supervisor so she's still new to scheduling people and she has a hard time with that. So when Tania saw the new schedule she was upset because she said she had told Maria that she needed some days off, and she started talking about how her mom couldn't take care of her baby any more and that she might have to quit. And since this whole week coming up is Spring Break for me my schedule was wide open, so I offered to switch those days with her. Tania accepted and then told me that I had to tell Maria so I told Maria that Tania wanted to change and that totally set her off. I told her that I was willing because I had Spring Break and that I could work whenever she needed me to which she replied rudely "Oh, we don't need you we need a keyholder" and then said that I wouldn't get 40 hours (which is what full timers get us part timers we only get the maximum of 35) to which I didn't mind but it pissed me off because she had scheduled another part timer Eli 43 hours this week and another part timer Karina 40. Because she sucks at making schedules. And before everyone was saying oh let them get after her, Maria, and then she'll learn and I thought that was kinda harsh but after the way she talked to me I do wish they'd get after her now. And then she got mad because I didn't tell her I had Spring Break, I was just like okay I don't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning let alone that.
At least I told her.......eventually. So for trying to be nice it totally came back and bit me in the ass! And now I'm no longer friends with Rosendo, my gay friend because of his selfishness and stupidity (srsly all my friends applauded me for putting up with him for so long). And now I'm going to be seeing him every day because he's transferring to my branch. And after he didn't have the decency to call and apologize after this HUGE fight we had, I had to call him just because I didn't want it to be awkward working with him. And now it will always piss me off that I was the first one to crawl back, but through my perspective I was the bigger person who called first. At least that's what I'll keep telling myself until I believe it.
