Ugh, I spent my New Years Eve napping and praying for some medicine. I was sick as a dog. I'm still pretty sick but slowly getting better my brother gave me some medicine which helped A LOT, seeing as how now I don't have a death wish and don't want to bang my head against the wall from the pain. I'm feeling MUCH better I'd say. :)
Christmas was good, I got some really good presents some perfumes (Coco by Chanel from my sis, I'd been dying for that perfume forever and a Burberry one from my cousin) and my friend gave me a gift card to Barnes and Nobles but it's only 15 dollars so I'm trying to figure out which books I want. I mean really want. I thought about these:
Laughter In The Dark by Nabokov
The Old Man And The Sea by Ernest Hemingway
To Have and Have Not by Ernest Hemingway
Brighton Rock by Graham Greene
The Return by Joseph Conrad
Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie
In Watermelon Sugar by Richard Brautigan
Germinal by Emile Zola
The War of Don Emmanuels Nether Parts by Louis De Bernieres.
Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo
Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Lol, I know I can't buy them all but I'd thought I'd start a reading list this year. Since college didn't present a lot of reading opportunities as I'd thought it would. And it's a good way to keep my mind active. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions to add to the list. Books you've maybe read and really love, or just books you heard are great. I'd really appreciated it.
P.S: Changed my layout to a nice Billie one. :)
