Summer of...
Soooooooooo.
Summer has been both great and absolutely boring.
Great when people are still in town and we can hang out almost every day.
Boring when everyone is out of town or busy and I'm stuck at home with my brother for a month.
I'm leaving for Northwestern in only 17 days (Sept 12). Hard to believe that life here in San Jose as a kid is pretty much over. Today I went to go to open a checking account @ US Bank with my parents. They asked me how long I had been living at my house. Turns out its been 10 whole years. Still feels like yesterday that my family moved into the house. Well, to be exact probably the day before yesterday because it feels like yesterday that we finally finished remodeling.
Strange also for my sister to go to school and for me to sleep in so much that everyone's out of the house by the time I wake up. The apathetic feelings towards all of the stuff going on at Lynbrook is nice for a change. It's finally hitting me that I'm free of the public school system.
I guess it's nice to be completely relaxed for a change.
