Long Night...
First off, I made someone cry tonight. Not the bad cry, but the one of happiness and appreciation. All I was doing was being nice. It made me feel real good inside. :)
So I went and saw Judy Shepard talk at Gonzaga. It was very powerful and informative... Having her speak in a place like that was amazing to me too... Go GU...
Afterwards, Jessica, Jesse, Anthony, Nate and I went over to Shari's and talked about the whole thing. It was a pretty nice conversation filled with deep thought.
To get over all that hard work of thinking, all of us but Nate (who went home) decided to go for a drive. We drove up through Nine Mile and around there for a while. Near Tum Tum we stopped near the lake, put a tarp down, wrapped up in a blanket, and looked up at the stars. It was so great just sitting there. For some reason I felt completely comfortable and at peace. After chilling there for a while, we drove to the dam passed Tum Tum. Took a few pictures, decided we were getting tired and headed back to Spokane.
Now I'm here, knowing tomorrow is going to be hell. I'm going to be so tired all day! Oh well... Life goes on. At least today was fun!
