Shelley Meyer spoke to our sport and society class today. I found her speech very interesting. It was a good perspective of how crazy the life of a coach and his family can be. It was interesting to hear about the early years, when she was literally supporting Urban financially! haha, crazy. I guess I'm gonna shower and then run to Publix now instead of later to pick up a few things since I wasted too much time to really be able to work on my paper some before my next class. I'd like to see Jose Canseco speak tonight, partly because it's an issue we discuss frequently in classes for my major, and we'll be talking about it in class on Friday. I also need to work on my presentation for class tomorrow and work some more on my paper, so hopefully I can get all of that done.
