The other day, I got what appeared to be junk mail in my mailbox, but after looking at it, I realized they were giving away a bunch of free stuff at various places, so I cut out the coupons that interested me. One of them was a free shot glass, so I stopped by the store on my way back from Accounting and picked up my free shot glass. I like free stuff.
I submitted an absentee ballot request form about two weeks ago. I just picked up my mail and saw something from Miami-Dade Elections, so I thought it might be the absentee ballot. Instead, I found yet another voter ID card and a letter telling me I have taken the "first step" by registering to vote. Um, right, I've been registered to vote since I turned 18 in 2001, in case you guys haven't noticed. I now have 3 Voter ID cards. GOOD JOB MIAMI-DADE ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT. I can see we're well on our way to another fiasco on election day. I just left them a message telling them I need an absentee ballot, not a Voter ID card. Morons.
