this could have been a pretty damn good week as weeks go but...MUMPAGE!!!
ok, so the presentation of my work for 109cmc that i was massivly freaked about on monday went brilliantly...seriously brilliantly! it turns out that i am some kind of artistic genius! i started by kind of rambling about how i wanted to use the ideas of the italian futurist movement and 'bring them into the 21st century' and how marinetti asked the futurists to go down into the streets and create art and how i had done the same thing with my video and evry1 totally got it! evry1 totally understood why it was supposed to be a bit jarring and unconventional aand was saying that it was really good and to top it all off after all the presentations were finished (some of which were utter rubbish (sorry, but they really were)) steve 'what the hell is the point of that' dawkins points back at where i'd made my pres and said 'now i no some of u think ur never gonna be able to make stuff as good as what u'v seen today but don't be too daunted' I RULE!!!
and then, to make my tuesday morning even better i get back to find my new phone has arrived (Clamshell design ppl...CLAMSHELL!!!) at whcih point it all kinda went a bit downhill, i'd been so preoccupied with the presentation that i hadnt really noticed that i had a headache and a bit of swelling on my neck but ended up spending tuesday afternoon and most of wednesday in bed, to summarise, mumps really kinda sucks, especially the not being able to eat properly part!
at home at the mo cos kinda tired of being stuck in my room at uni the whole time, so thought i'd come back here to infect the ppl of irthlingborough instead! i must admit, quite suprisingly i'm really quite enjoying being back here at the moment although i'm sure within a couple of days i'll be itching to be back at uni
