Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: To date, Henry has no additional superhuman abilities that extend beyond his own physical prowess. He can run and dash at high speeds, his agility making him a pain in the ass force to be reckoned with in his boss battle. He can also leap to incredible heights, all the better to pull off his equally incredible/unbelievable feats. (Plummeting from the sky to steal Travis' kill once, and barreling through an office window 60+ stories high to steal the limelight, for instance.) He also happens to be a pretty good hand with a sword
Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them? this is not a joke on his name i swear
Temperature manipulation, or the removal of heat from an object or area. This can work by touch or through the surrounding atmosphere (a limited area, expanded on later), and can vary depending on his skill and mastery of the ability. Manipulation through touch would be the less taxing method, removing or displacing the heat in an inanimate object to varying degrees. The amount of heat displaced depends on his grasp on the ability, the concentration put into the task, and the object itself. Inanimate objects are less difficult than the living, and the less dense, the easier. Living things, whether it be insect, animal, human, or even the monsters of the city, require a higher level of skill and concentration, depending on just what effect he's going for. (Patches easier than limbs, say, limbs easier than the torso, and so forth; living anatomical bodies are pretty complex.) Size also plays a factor, complexity of the object/being, his own physical strength, and his mastery over the skill itself. In the beginning, he'll likely only be able to manage the small things. (Wine glasses, for example, fluids and small enclosed spaces.)
Now, the surrounding area, that's another story. It works almost the same as with solid objects, but spread out to the surrounding air. Think convection, or the principles of refrigeration and cooling. By displacing the heat in a particular space, he can lower the temperature of that space. For example, a small room. Depending, again, on his skill and development, he could turn that standard room (average 20 degrees Celsius) into an impromptu walk-in freezer in a matter of minutes. (Or seconds, when and if he gains greater control.) Eventually, he'll be able to expand the range of the effect from his immediate surroundings to a greater area, upwards to an estimated maximum of a square kilometer, or a full city block, if not greater. This can vary from anywhere between a slight chill to frost-bite conditions.
With the mastery of his abilities, he may yet be able to achieve the state of absolute zero, the coldest theoretical temperature possible. (Zero on the Kelvin scale, −273.15 °C on the Celsius scale, and −459.67 degrees on the Fahrenheit scale.) Of course, achieving this would be no easy task, and likely only able to be applied to a small area under the more extreme sort of circumstances. Everything has a drawback.
In terms of the effects of this ability on Henry himself, it's all in the head. The greater the feat, the more strain placed on his concentration and consciousness itself. Achieving something like block-wide frost-bite conditions, or absolute zero, would undoubtedly ground him afterward. Migraines and nosebleeds, anyone? As for the effects of the cool temperatures themselves, he's no less susceptible than the next guy. Well, sure, there's some more resistance to the cold than the average joe, enough to prevent contracting a severe case of frost-bite himself, but he'll feel the bite and chill.
Weapons:
The Cross Saber/Sword, a technologically advanced light saber particle beam weapon in the form of a sword. The damage it can inflict is greater than that of a traditional alloy blade.
History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History:
HerePoint in Canon: End-game, before leaving Batt's office
Character Personality: As Henry himself has stated in the first of the games, 'he's a cool and handsome foil', and he is just that. He's cool, he's suave, he's smooth and he drips sophistication like a fine and exotic nectar. Sort of. He's calm and collected, and quite sure of himself and his place in the world. He wields mystery as some men wield business cards, doling it out as he sees fit and cementing his place in matters in the hearts of all who witness his exploits. His very first appearance is just that, a shadow flitting just out of Travis' (the great protagonist himself) reach only to steal his thunder and the limelight in a major boss battle but moments later. (And with a great lack of effort, may it be noted.) He's mysterious, he's strong, he's everything one could ask for out of an intriguing supporting character, and he also happened to be married to the main femme-fatale of the game. (Past tense, may it also be noted.) Was it mentioned that he's also Travis' twin brother?
While the circumstances of their past lives and histories are for the most part unclear, it's no joke that Henry and Travis are long-lost twin brothers. While Travis went along his merry, otaku way, Henry was off and getting raised in Ireland, having (presumably) a grand old time. His life thereafter adheres a bit to the classical romantic turn of events: he went to college, he met his future wife, they were married and remained happily so for ten wonderful years. She had her quirks and odd (read; financially devastating) habits, but he tolerated it! It can be presumed that he tolerated her sudden disappearances and forays into the underworld for many a long year. Her little run-around with Travis being just one such occasion, and one that he all but brushed off as a habitual thing. Business as usual, right? Right.
They were divorced by the time the second game rolled around, but at least it was a pretty good run while it lasted. Henry's luck might not have been as spectacular as it was in the first volume, but he still made an impact. Immortalized in carbonite a la Han Solo, he was subsequently rescued by Travis and rendered useless and comatose for a good little while. He made up for it when he awoke, at least, interrupting Travis' private time and later finishing off some targets for him. Thoughtful, wasn't it?
Henry does have a flair for showiness, that much is certain. A man made for the center spotlight, even when he doesn't always actively seek it out. He shows up, takes his fifteen minutes of fame, and exits before things get too rough or troublesome. In that way, he preserves his place as Mysterious Supporting Cast without getting too much in the way. He's rarely up in anyone's face, save for when it matters. He rarely loses his cool enough to do so, if at all in fact. It's rare for him to lose his composure in any given situation, and the ones where he has were pretty far out there indeed. (Frozen in carbonite, his brother hitting on his wife, awakening from disturbing anime-esque dreams, so on and so forth.) Henry has his own pride to uphold, and all the confidence needed to defend it. If he can take on America's Top-ranked assassin and expect to walk away (and actually succeed in doing so), there's little that can stop him from doing almost anything after that.
Character Plans: carve his way into the hearts of the ladies Make himself a place. He's a man with standard, and given the type of fighter he is, he may well search for that one, heart-pounding challenge. Finding a place to settle down for his stay would be a priority: he's no hot-blooded youthful idiot. Maybe get himself into the various circles of power around the city. Anything's possible.
Appearance/PB: Tall and handsome. Anyhow, Henry is of tall to middle height, perhaps a bit above average as all cool and handsome guys must be. His hair is a lighter shade of brown than his brother's, and smoothed back in a neat and most presentable way. His dress-code is only the most impeccable, overcoats and vests and tailored shirts ahoy. Pants? Pressed, and tucked into what can only be high-quality leather boots. He's most usually wearing gloves, for neatness' sake.

[ The recording starts up on relative silence at first, a mere second of it before it's broken by that initial first breath before speech. The sounds of a city are faint and almost inaudible in the background. ]
Hello, Siren's Port, and good afternoon. Assuming this is the common method of communication within the city, of course. If there is a more convenient method than general broadcasts like this, then I apologize, and bid you good day. Until then, I offer you my greetings and thanks for the wonderful and pleasant welcome received upon my arrival.
[ It's a voice and tone that could have come straight out of an answering machine recording, clipped and professional and decidedly no-nonsense. Don't mind the wry note creeping in there, or that faint hint of an accent threaded through it all. ]
If someone would be so kind as to provide additional answers to my questions, it would be much appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a good day.
[ End broadcast. ]

The last time Henry had awoken in such a manner (abruptly and nauseatingly), it was to the tinny blare of his brother's Japanese cartoons in the background and the odd crumple of tissue just at the edge of hearing. He wasn't too keen on repeating the experience, particularly not after a dream-terror like the first time, and it looked as if he was in for another ride regardless of his own vehement wishes. The only difference this time is that he awakens only to relative silence and his own panted breaths in between, the din of a city just at the edges of hearing. There is no 'anime' rattling out of the television, no questionable bin of tissues, and no half-naked assassin to snap at him for interrupting whatever the hell was going on. All he's left with this time, it would seem, is the fading thrum of adrenaline in his veins and the migraine beginning it's merry dance in his gray matter.
It's better not to think on how a tacky, demolished administrative office became a baseball diamond, but the question remains, all the same. Or the curious and somewhat cliche dystopian aura drifting in the air like so much fallout. The state of the area surrounding him is no better, the signs slapped up in the distance a great comfort indeed. He wants a painkiller. Answers would also fit just fine, but the painkiller would be just as great sooner rather than later.
So it is with trusty blade in hand that Henry takes his first step into the unknown world. He gets about as far before nausea threatens with a mighty fist, and he takes his first rest stop only seconds after his triumphant arrival. As Travis or his ilk might have put it, the whole situation blew major chunks. He would have to have a word with the fellows in charge, if there any who fit the bill.
