You're one of their few proud distinguished alumni. They can point to you as a success. That's something to be proud of - you're objectively considered a success by an educational institution.

Well, perhaps subjectively considered a success by an educational institution. Have you seen the Futurama episode where Leela goes back to her old orphange to get an award for Orphan of the Year? The other past winners have captions that say things like, "Heroin-free For Two Years," and "Still Has All His Own Teeth at 35." That's sort of the way I feel about Howe. I'm a success only by virtue of the fact that so many others have failed so miserably...
