Went to Goodwill today in search of some crappy pleather item I could cannibalize for Lando's collar and belt. Found a GORGEOUS pair of brand-new, blood-red go-go boots. They were too small for me. I wept inside. But if anybody is a size 8 and wants awesome blood-red platform gogo boots, they're at the St. Clair W. and Davenport Goodwill.
In a similar vein, I dropped by the Bloor/Yonge Fabricland and was actually struck dumb by a new display of organza. I turned around and there it was, glowing at me, and I just stood there in awe and magpie lust. A whole table full of different colours of shimmery two-tone organza, some smooth, some crinkly....pinky violet, bluey green, coppery gold............*cries* and I did not buy any because I have no project I need them for. But they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pretty. *whimper*
