SPRING!
It's so nice to have warm weather again. I'm enjoying being able to wear my dresses. It makes me feel prettier. I really need the pick up now that I'm starting to get the " baby bump" and I've been feeling so icky from hormones. I'm telling the girls at school who haven't reproduced yet to just adopt lol. Hopefully I'll be going to a BBQ in a while with a classmate. It should be nice meeting some new people. I have a hard time keeping new friends usually because of a lack of things in common. At least I know I'll have school (and therefore a love of children)in common with the girl who invited me :) I'm also pretty happy today because I got my grades for my last couple units of winter quarter and I got two A-'s! I was always a C student in HS. I feel like my instructor is just a generous grader, but I am learning a lot and I think because she observes me at work she knows I kick ass at what I do...so it's a fair grade. But I think my written assignments could be better and my projects could be neater. I will make sure to spend more QUALITY time on my assignments this quarter so I'll be happier with myself. A lot of the projects we do are things I should keep and use at work, so I want them to look more professional. I am not taking care of Alana much after school these days so I shouldn't have the distraction any more. I can't believe how fast the first quarter of school went!
