festive weekend at the park
went to lobsterfest and microbrewfest yesterday. ate two lobster and drank a whole lot of beer.

today there was the gay pride parade, which is always nice to see, but there is also a gay pride fest going on in the park. lots of thumping bass lines that are making their way into my apartment. i wandered by to see what was up and it was just too loud for my hung over self. it does look like they are having a much better turnout than lobster fest did though. it could be due to the windstorms that were tearing through yesterday, or the bouncy ride. they seem to be having a really good, if loud, time.
