So Susan and I went and got an apartment. She is still in Indiana until her lease is up August 1st, so I get two months of Bachelor Pad Living! Here are a few pictures that I took while making chili yesterday.
maybe we should take all the couches and beds that we can fit in there. I think if we took cat's bed and both big couches we could comfotably sleep four guests.
charge $25 bucks each and i think we'll do pretty well. maybe we could install a vending machine with toothpaste and stuff in it.
it's roughly to scale. if i feel really motivated i might redo with the right scale.
They could be switched, but then I think they would overlap a bit. I was checking that out this morning, but I can't remember exactly how it worked out.
oh, and i don't know if they will fit through the door. The front doors shouldn't be a problem if both sets of doors open completely, but our door might be too narrow. i'll need to check it out.
yeah, i like that better. there are two ways to go through the room, and it feels like there's more room when you enter the apartment. what do you think?
I don't like how the seating area on the couch and the love seat overlap. although it would be a good place to put your feet...
In the original diagram i think that there would be enough room to pass between them, just not alot. Remember that the couches are lower than waist high, so you could get by comfortably with about 11 inches of clearance.
also, we could get a little bit more room for walking through the living room by moving the couch towards the windows a little bit... it would be on the rug a little, but i think that would be fine. what do you think?
is there room on the wall with the windows for shelves, or do the windows, love seat, and tv fill up the whole space?
You realize waht this means, right? You and Susan are now the mandatory hosts of all Albany parties when we're in town ;)

This isn't exact, but i think it would work something like this...

i thought you wanted to put the couch against the wall and have the love seat in the middle of the room - would that work?
and will they fit through the doors?
