*perks up* Really?! I don't watch Atlantis (just get into it) but evil!Asgard sounds interesting.

And I know, I had to be consoled by a friend when Thor died. Glad, it was the last episode cause the series would have felt so empty without the little guys somewhere.

Yea, if you remember several seasons ago, I think it was the episode where they asked SG1 to rescue some Asgard scientist who was doing genetic research. The scientist said something about a Lost Tribe of Asgard...Apparently Daniel and Rodney found them...last two episodes of SGA.

I actually have not seen that episode... I've watched very little of the last seasons of SG1 and am still catching up. But it's still a very interesting thing and I think I may mention something about it latter on in the fic; it actually works well with what I have in mind.

I like the way this series is developing. I like the way you've slotted Jack in there in a way that makes sense and kept it almost canon, just not as we know it. :)

I still don't get why they killed off the Asguard. :( I can totally see that Jack's reaction would be like this. In fact, I wonder who had the pleasure of telling him when they got back to Earth? That's not a job I'd want.

I know... Jack can be a bit scary (and very unpredictable) when he grieves or doesn't want to believe something is happening. I always thought it might have been Landry who would have told him since they're firends and Landry does report directly to Jack; unless Sam or Daniel asked to tell him.

And thank you! I wanted the dialogue to be played out just how it is in the script but with Jack thrown in; so far, it's worked out pretty well... Except for some of Daniel's line, which I think they wrote in mind for Jack to speak originally and then just handed them to Daniel when they wrote him out.

I think Daniel and Sam would've been there to tell him but Daniel would've done the talking. Sam would be there to "comfort" him afterwards of course. Maybe Teal'c would be there too just in case he did go nuts and get scary. Hmmmm...I might have a play around with that...:)

Yeah, I can definitely imagine that Daniel would do all the talking and Sam would be the comfort. I can just imagine her and Jack on a couch with him staring blankly ahead and her head on his shoulder waiting till he wanted to talk.
