NW 23rd Avenue - Hip and trendy, you're the main
drag of Portland's Pearl District. Haven for
Yuppies that can afford to plunk down $50,000
for a college dorm room... er, I mean, a luxury
condo.
With the shiny new Portland Streetcar the newest NW
23rd attraction, who needs a car or those
stinky polluting buses? Rail is the
"in" thing to ride these days.
Especially since the streetcar tracks took away
all your on-street parking.
What Portland Street Are You? brought to you by
Quizilla This would please me, but it certainly is a rather unflattering description of 23rd, my homeland.
Well, life continues to be grand. With just under a month of school remaining, I am really starting to feel the good effects of that end-of-the-year feeling. You know the one: carefree. Relaxed. I am focusing on the play (Little Shop of Horrors, it rocks, seriously. Come see it.), my friends, and my boyfriend. Homework is my last priority. Sleep is another low priority for me, though it really shouldn't be. It's strange, I come alive at night. Like, right now. It is 1:17am, and I am siting here typing away. I've been chatting and puttering around my room, generally feeling wide awake but not in a i-can't-sleep kind of way. Just not tired. And this is what I do everynight. Then, the next day, I feel sleepy all day and will promptly fall asleep anywhere I can, as long as I am sitting still long enough. All day long I eagerly await my bed, but then when it comes time I always think of a million things I want to do before getting into bed. Oh well. There's plenty of time to sleep when I am old. Right now, I have better things to do.
