Notes: Future!ficlet. Random idea I got that just wouldn't leave me alone - I guess it could be classified as a crack!fic. I don't have plans to expand it at the moment, which is why I'm posting it, but you never know. Anyone is welcome to try and write more to it, though - as long as I get credited for the beginning/basic idea! :)

Summary: Everyone was shocked. Everyone but three people, who shared a look over a recent magazine article, shook their heads and sighed. "Dick."
Cassidy Casablancas' reappearance five years after his hugely mediatised death sent the whole country reeling. Everyone knew who he was, what he had done and how he had swan-dived off a roof. His being alive was beyond impossible. The paramedics sent to the scene still had vivid flashes of scraping the broken body off a Ford. Everyone was shocked.
Everyone but three people, who shared a look over a recent magazine article, shook their heads and sighed. "Dick."
Because Cassidy Casablancas was apparently a surfer recently gone pro who was already competing with the biggest names in the business. Furthermore, this apparition (as many journalists dubbed him) was described at being tall, broad-shouldered and blonde - everything Cassidy was not.
Everything Cassidy's older brother was.
The puzzling part was when fans and journalists described the busy surfing idol as nice, smiling and always willing to make time for his fans, no matter how much it pissed his manager off when he was late for a publicity stint.
That sounded far much more like Cassidy than Dick.
