Ewww exams...

Completed my English exam an hour ago.
Believe it or not, I actually enjoyed that exam. (<--does that give you "chills down the spine" or what?) We could choose one of three quotes to relate a novel to -- the novel being one of either Hamlet, Alias Grace, or Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Living up to my contrariness, I picked the most obscure quote of them all:
               "Come, see
               real flower
               in this painful world"
                    (by some guy called Bason or something like that)
See, I figured that since its meaning was unclear, I could forcefully twist it into the direction I wanted, and make it fit the theme I had prepared beforehand. This tactic may be cheap and underhanded, but I sure had fun bs-ing my way through. XD It'd be pretty amusing if I actually got a decent mark for that~~

In other news... MJ has finally managed to get her hands on a laser mouse! A spiffin' little fella with a bright red light shining from one end! It's white and doesn't go with the black keyboard, but MJ couldn't care less! No more periodic disembowelment to clean the rollers! No more stuck mouse balls--okay that sounds wrong. ^^;
Yaayyy~ My life is complete! Can't wait for exams to be over so I can drawdrawdraw!!!
Started
last week... hope to finish it soon.

Now, over to sports... Marat Safin's won the Australian Open!!! I watched the entire final on Sunday (psh, exams can wait). It was a good match, and my respect for Safin has gone up again by a few notches (but Federer's still my hero!! XD). Despite his fame as a racquet-breaker, he managed to keep his cool in front of those thousands of fans cheering for Hewitt. It's a pity that the Australians' hope for a native champion is dashed again (30 years now!), but Hewitt's given it his best. Safin's talent and dominance is unmistakable.

*siiiigh* Time for some studying. One down, two to go...
