(no subject)
So I was supposed to meet up with Ariel this morning but totally got stood up. I guess looking at university took longer than he expected which just completely sucked for me since I stood around waiting for him at the tube station. Wow did I feel like a moron! Anyway, I decided to go to Picadilly Circus and I guess the entire country decided to as well because I swear the streets were completely packed for BLOCKS! It was much worse than NYC. They were all christmas shopping so that just added to how hectic it was. It was fun though and I bought really cheap boots that are totally hot to go with my fabulous new pink skirt! Shopping here is just waaaaay too much fun. So yeah my entire day was spent walking the streets in Picadilly Circus and over by Oxford Street. Tonight I'm going out for drinks with Samantha and I'm really excited! We talked about possibly going to this new cocktail bar called Ling Ling.. supposedly its the place to be but also quite expensive so we shall see.
In other news:
-I've broken the "u" key on my laptop... the key part of it is no longer there. Obviously its not a functional problem because I'm still using it, but asthetically I'm not too happy.
-There's a store called "Oi!" here right on Portobello road and I laugh everytime I walk by it. It's great!
-When I walk back from the tube station I always smell weed. VERY STRONGLY. I want to smoke... maybe Samantha or some of her friends will have and I can indulge:)
-My new mission is to find good british music. There's a store on the corner called "rough trades" and I think it's a music store but I have to investigate further. I went into Virgin today but its just not the same.
