Fun in the snow!
Hello everyone~! Yesterday -at long last- the latest issues of Yanmaga and Jump reached the book stores in Okinawa! And they even had Shounen Magazine so I did 'tachiyomi'(usually I'm not buying it). Wah~! Kurogane's "forced smile" (in the literal sense...^^)looked so cute ♥. But Holic also had a lot to laugh about this issue! It's really fun to read some of your favourite series after such a long break :D!

Wata: "This has nothing to do with math!! And on top of that, it's been way too long since you've used that as joke material!!"

Ah--! I thought the scans would already be out by the time I got my Yanmaga so I didn't take any pics with my digicam this time. What a shame -_-! Watanuki's so cute in this chapter and Doumeki's GIGANTIC lopsided snowman is just <3<3<3! It's rather unlikely, but if I have enough time to drop by my dorm between lessons I'll get some pics of it and try to upload them later.

Wa~i ^o^! Holic's editor is doing the amusing thing on the opening pages of the Holic chapters again! The text on the first page(nice close-up of Doumeki wearing a spider's web themed...something) reads "Whenever something wondrous happens, there's someone I can share it with. That's enough to make this life worth living". Doesn't quite reach up to the "You only realize what you love the most when you've lost it" one,
but I like it anyway~ ...fufu.

That one was kinda tricky since the English language doesn't always translate with the same word for 'shuugou'. Anyway, definitions were stolen (and altered at times) from www.dictionary.com.

The same thing (see above) goes for the "asobi"(playing sth./ game etc.) thing. I left the Japanese terms in brackets so you could see the connection between the words they're using in their conversation.

"I got my hopes up for nothing!" I wonder what he was expecting indeed XD! Well, he is a 17(18?)-year-old boy after all ^o^. Btw, I've always wondered about the age thing. If you assume they were in their first year of high school in volume one and take into count all the times they've changed uniforms so far, they must be in their 3rd year right now. Meaning they would graduate in the following April, i.e we shouldn't be seeing any changes of uniforms from now on. (Unless Clamp wants them to get held back a grade or something...) Anyway, I wonder if this means the manga will be over soon (highly unlikely)...? If not what are they gonna do? Make it seem like winter and spring never finish...??
