Holic chapter 89 (kind of half-baked) translation

Clamp made in volume 7! In fact there's a lot more tiny changes here and there but they're not that important. (Like an added bubble, or that Watanuki now does have his eye patch in the scenes he was missing it before etc.) Translation will be up later this week do to limited computer access on my side.

Watanuki(Wata): *hah!*
Spider woman(Spid): "Just like the rumors say."
Spid: "A cute (little) boy."

Wata: "Who are you?!"
Spid: "There's a part of you that knows the answer to that question."
Wata: "....?!"

Spid: "Your right eye."
Spid: "Everbody wanted to get their hands on this eye of yours so it's been fought over."

Spid: "Well, but anyone with the tiniest bit of youryoku （妖力） or reiryoku（霊力） would want it."
((will explain later, computer room is going to be closed in 20 minutes so I have to hurry o_O. Just think anybody with "the tiniest bit of extraordinary(spiritual etc.) power would want it” for now.
Spid: "(It's hard to believe) that something that you couldn't even call a treasure nowadays, will multiply your power several dozen times if you make it(--->the eye) yours. "
((lots of notes to follow on that one. I'm not sure if my translation of the first part is correct. I have to think on that one.
Wata: % Damn! I'm getting drowsy again... %
Spid: "The yatagarasu（八咫烏） and fuuri （風狸）were especially fond of it. That caused me some trouble."
Spid: "But this was to be expected, I guess."
Wata: "Ugh....!"

Wata: "Kin...?!...does that mean..."
Spid: "I'm the one who reigns over the spiders."

Spid: "You're angry, right? Kudakitsune."
Spid: "It had come to my ears that you've been passed over by Amewarashi, but you really seem to like that boy."

Spid: "Zashiki warashi also seems to be very fond of you."
Spid: "When she heard that your eye fell into my hands she came to get it back."
Spid: "Even though you knew that you'd suffer because of the youki (妖気) you would be affected by merely being in my presence."
((Think youki= evil aura, will explain later (I will probably edit the post.).
Zashiki warshi: "Give it back...his....eye"
Zashiki: "pleas....se"

Yatagarasu is a three-legged bird in Japanese mythology. (A "yatagarasu" is also the symbol of the Japanese soccer association :O!) I'm not familiar with Japanese mythology so if the Yatagarasu or any other character that has only been mentioned by their name so far ever makes his/her appearance in Holic I will do some more research on them. "Fuuri" (風狸) consists of the kanji for wind(風) and tanuki(狸 - racoon) and is another beast from Japanese mythology that is supposed to be able to literally fly on the wind. I'll go to the library and see if they have a book on Japanese mythology/ ghost worlds etc. one of these days, since they make such frequent appearances in Holic.

I will continue calling her "spider woman" until Yuuko tells us if Jourogumo is her real name or just her nickname.

Discussion material : spider woman uses the same word (aterareru = get affected/ hit etc. by) Amewarashi used in volume 5 when she referred to Himawari-chan (she was hiding because she didn't want to get "affected/ hit" by Himawari-chan ＜<'s powers>>).
