寒い！けど頑張る！
So, after a long, long, summer and happy sunshiny days, it looks like autumn has finally come to Colorado. Or rather, it seems that we've skipped straight from summer to winter in the span of a few days. The temperature is dropping, and It's been raining a bit...soon, that rain will turn into snow.
Today, I went to an organic farm to help harvest in order to get 5% extra credit on my first exam for nutrition class, which, quite frankly, I bombed by my own standards. The harvest was potatoes, and there were about 15 of us working in the fields, shoveling and sifting through dirt to find the "gold" (at least, that's what it felt like to me). Apparently, blights have been plaguing the potatoes in these parts, so there were a lot of very, very miniature potatoes, which, of course, I could have empathized with, if only they were animate.
Either way, It was a good four hours of digging in the dirt in cold, drizzling weather. I had two jackets. It was cold.
Good news: I have my graduation papers ready, so if everything goes well, I'll be able to graduate in May! I feel like I'm a high school senior again, thanks to all the hustle and bustle and trying to decide what to do with my life again, and all of the applications I'm going to have to deal with within the next few months or so.
It's best to take it one step at a time, though.
Breathe...in, out....okay! Back to work!
