Wild Kyuhyuns are solitary Pokemon, usually collectively grouped into the “nerd” category. You will most likely find a wild Kyuhyun at a Math Olympiad competition. Beware when approaching the wild Kyuhyun, for although its “snark” power is undeveloped, it is still very powerful. Another wild Kyuhyun power is reciting long, complicated mathematical equations and formulas that put you to sleep, giving it the chance to escape from your clutches. If truly threatened, a wild Kyuhyun may even use “sing” and stun you with a melodic song while it disappears.

To catch a Kyuhyun, you must lure it to you by setting up an “audition.” The Kyuhyun will only accept you after you and your Pokemon can successfully resist surrendering to a Kyuhyun singing a whole song. You must then catch the Kyuhyun using a SJ Pokeball.

Exceptions to the catching process are:

- The Kyuhyun will readily come to you in the presence of a Ryeowook, a Yesung, or especially, a Zhou Mi among your Pokemon. However, Zhou Mis are generally hard to find until you have made it to China.
- Using a Heechul against the Kyuhyun will usually result in a successful catch; particularly if your Heechul can use the “bitch” move long enough to wear down the Kyuhyun’s defenses.

Congratulations! Now you have successfully caught your first Kyuhyun. You must then train it to evolve into a Gamekyu, usually with a Starcraft stone. While training with Starcraft, you must also cultivate the Kyuhyun’s “snark” power, used mainly defensively, although occasionally Kyuhyuns are observed using it for attack. Training your Kyuhyun with other Super Junior Pokemon will also be beneficial, and Super Junior (SJ) Pokemon are mainly friendly, and will accept your Kyuhyun as family. However, beware of Jonghyuns from the SHINee Pokemon group; they will try multiple times to convince your Kyuhyun to join SHINee, usually by pleading it for copious hugs.

Zhou Mis are ideal for training Kyuhyuns (or even Gamekyus) with - in fact, training a Gamekyu in China with a Zhou Mi and generous amounts of dumplings will eventually evolve your Gamekyu into a Kuixian! Kuixians are quite powerful, but using a Zhou Mi and a Kuixian in battle together will triple the intensity of a Kuixian’s “sing” power.

Your Gamekyu may initially refuse to interact with the Zhou Mi. A Zhou Mi’s three most powerful attacks are “sparkle”, “rays of sunshine”, and “squee”. It may also be able to summon puppies, kittens, and rainbows at will, although this is not a common occurrence. Your Gamekyu will most likely be taken aback by the Zhou Mi (they are tall, thin Pokemon, and may give off an intimidating first impression), as well as the new environment in China. However, give your Gamekyu some time, and eventually it will accept the Zhou Mi, particularly once the Zhou Mi has sung in your Gamekyu’s presence. If this still does not work, Zhou Mis and Gamekyus will definitely bond after watching a sad drama together.

The most intense power a Kuixian can achieve is “kangaroo”, but this is only accomplished when a Zhou Mi is also actively using its “koala” power. A Marsupial Pair situation is when a Kuixian uses “kangaroo” and a Zhou Mi uses “koala” at the same time during battle, usually leading to an instant KO for the hapless opponent.

So there you have it, how to catch and train a Kyuhyun! They are frustrating to deal with at times (influences from Heechuls, most likely), but overall they are witty, loyal, and powerful Pokemon if trained properly.

SIDENOTE for kamebuns: Kyuhyuns may evolve into Kyupeens, although a Kyupeen is extremely rare. The most powerful ability a Kyupeen possesses is “ejakyulate”. /dies

...I had to insert the Kyu/Jjong for dorawa, okay. Also thanks to charunde for giving me ideas for powers of Zhou Mis :D

a;lsdkjfglskjdf ANYWAYS COMMENT. TELL ME IF I'M CRAZY, IF YOU LIKED THIS, IDK. stay tuned for more suju pokemon crack later, why do I do this.

bonus: Donghaes evolve into Dong Hais when trained in China. Once a Dong Hai uses its "qing ai de bao bei!" and "flirt!" powers enough, it will evolve into a Greasyhae ;_____;
