So, this would be an actual entry in the journal. I hardly post in here. I don't know why I don't post more. I always have things bothering me, and I just let them fester inside me like a infectious disease, and then it comes to the boiling point, and just pushes me into a further depression.
I try to hide the fact that I'm depressed, but it doesn't always work. People can tell just by looking at me. These are the people that I consider to be close to me, because wow, if you can see through the smile I fake everyday, kudos to you.
Alot of things have changed this year. I moved back to Las Vegas after hating Ventura, California for 9 months. The only thing that made it bearable at the end up working at H&R Block, and just being able to show interest in something I was doing. I mean, I love working with numbers, so working in a tax office was the knees bees.
Another thing that made 2008 bearable was being able to see Alanis Morissette in concert! Yeah, she opened for Matchbox 20, but still, it was a great event, and I'll never forget it. Even now, when I hear some of the songs that were played, I get chills thinking back to that one night.
When I moved back to Las Vegas in April of 2008, I had no idea how bad the economy really was. I had applied for several jobs, had quite a few interviews, but no offers. That all changed when I applied for Treasure Island on the Famous Las Vegas Strip. I got the interview, and that was the LONGEST week of my life waiting to find out if I got the job or not. It was kinda funny, the day I was going to call and check on the status of my interview and application, I got a call from them offering me job pending drug test results. So, yeah. I started June 28, 2008. I have been there since.
When I moved back to Las Vegas, I moved in with my friends Jaime and Matt, and their friend Andre. I think Andre hates me, so it makes living across the hall from him kinda tough. But whatever, Jaime, Matt, and myself get along well, so that makes up for it. We live in the northwest area, over by this really nifty new Casino that just opened. LOL. I know, I'm a nerd.
But anyway, I'm looking forward to a good 2009.
I finally agreed to going on a date with this guy, we'll see how it goes. I could be on here in a couple of days saying either, "I HATE ALL MEN!" or, "He was a total gentleman." We'll see. Anyway, I'll leave you with a video.
