Misa wasn't at all surprised by the silence that followed her greeting. It was the same every day. Light didn't talk to her anymore, and if she were to be honest she was glad that he didn't. She had no idea what to say to him --- neither could she stand seeing his grotesque face. Her hand shook a bit as she closed the door behind her. Her thoughts screaming at her, "I don't want to be here!" She wanted to return to the sparkly perfect world.

Keeping her happy facade, she skipped to the kitchen in the pretense of making coffee and slicing a piece of cake for herself. She wasn't hungry, but it gave her something to do before returning to where Light was.

While waiting for the water to boil, she asked how this hell had happened. She could remember the very first time she met Light. She thought that her dream was finally coming true. She had found her prince. Before she met Light, she only wanted to thank Kira and maybe help him a bit, thinking he was going to be an old man. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw that instead of the gross old man that she was expecting was the handsome, intelligent Light Yagami. At that time, she told herself --- it had to be fate! It was fate that she met this perfect prince.

When Light told her he didn't love her, she was not discouraged. She believed that he would learn to love her. He definitely would. How could he not learn to love her? She was Misamisa. The adorable and loved Misamisa! Girls envy her and want to be her and guys of any age wanted her. She was worthy of him --- a god.

She was still sad about her parents' murders but she was still determined to have her happily ever after. A successful career, handsome husband and a perfect family.

At the beginning, before the accident --- she thought that everything would go exactly as planned. She was shooting for her a movie that everyone was telling her everyone predicted would be a sure HIT! Her modeling career was at its peak and she was receiving more jobs than she could actually accept.

This all changed after the accident. At first, she had been like any supportive girlfriend and worried about Light's welfare. She raced out of her shooting and sped to the hospital to see if Light was okay. He was alive --- if that was what you call living. Half of Light's handsome face was gone.
