Faith was sweating - a LOT. Those movies about the deep South really didn't overdramatize the sweatiness you would encounter in this part of the country. If she hadn't been traveling for so long with Giles, she would be stripped to her underwear and beyond. Sometimes the dude just burst into the room sometimes, and as much as she didn't care about being seen in that state, she had grown great respect for Giles. That included avoiding that sort of awkwardness. At least for his sake - the dude was like 60 or something. His heart might not be able to handle what was under these tank and shorts.

She got up from the bed and leaned against the window, peering into night and wodnering where the hell she was going to find that pesky Slayer runaway. Boy was she gonna give that girl a good beating for causing them all this trouble. She shook her head and stared at the television where more news about vampires doing good deeds was causing her teeth to hurt. It was one thing to be a vamp like Angel or even Spike, but just a regular old vamp rescuing kittens and shit? This world had gone to high hell...
Speaking of Angel, she wondered if he and his team even knew about what was happening here. Sure, it was probably known all over that Buffy's team (which may or may not include Faith, depending on the day of the week) were wanted terrorists. But did they know about this vampire turnaround.

She sat back on the bed and pulled out her cell phone. Angel was always a hard guy to get a hold of. But Wes seemed to like to sit at his desk a lot. With a shrug, she punched in his number and put it up to her ear. "Yo, Wes, it's Faith."

wesley, faith
