Lorne pursed his red lips, looking as if a great weight was on his shoulders. Swallowing noticably, he tried to convey a bit morelightness than he felt.
"I know Wolfram & Hart has us all doing different things nowadays. We rarely ever see each other like we used to. -I- actually made the trip to New Orleans 2 weeks ago, and was gone for 6 days. The first 2 days was normal signing BS, nothing unusual. Till one of them got too drunk at a party I threw for others to get to know the bands. This one demon I knew from Caritas had moved back there, after LA got too hot with activity..He made the mistake of singing while soused in the men's room. I got lots of info from him on the whole Queen of Louisiana, and also enough about Eric Northman to make me guess this was important stuff.
The next day, I just began chatting with him as if he'd told me all the juicy gossip while downing his second bottle of Aquavit. Spike has it partially right, tho. This seems to be a community that's in the southern part of the States. After a few more questions, I got the answer that the whole King/Queen/sherrif stuff has gotten as far west as Nevada, but they are very very small. Nothing like Louisiana or Texas. And, it also dosen't seem to really be anything they do in Europe, or South America. A unique thing, actually, to this country."
Shrugging his shoulders, he raised his hands up in a slightly helpless move. He got lucky with the news he DID get, and he still felt like it just wasen't all there. Details missing.
"Part of me wants to go back, and soon. I adore LA, but the music in New Orleans moved me to my little red toes. Wonder if Angel-cakes would OK us all to take a road-trip?? It would be nice to get out of this damn office!"
