After taking some more headache medication and passing out again, Cordelia felt much better once she woke. She munched on some of the provided hotel snacks--hey, Wolfram and Hart was paying, so it's not like she was wasting money. She still felt super gross and groggy, so she hopped into the shower, taking a ridiculous hot and long one.

As she got out, she was wrapping a towel around herself when she heard a loud knock at the door. "Dammit, Angel, leave me alone for, like, five minutes," she murmured to herself as she made her way to the door.

When she opened it, however, she saw Gunn instead of shiny, happy Angel. That was a relief. "Oh, hey," she said, holding her towel up. "What's up?"

He gave her a smile when he saw her, making sure not specifically *not* look too much at the fact that she was wearing only a towel. Hey, he was a guy who liked women. He couldn't HELP but notice a little bit. "Not much. Wanted to come by and check up on you. Figured you might still be feeling all hang over-like and wanted to make sure that you were OK."

He smirked. "You know, without being freaky Angel 'I'm all happy but secretly a little evil by waking up people who are hung over." Yeah, Gunn had pretty much assumed that Angel was mostly amusing himself by being annoying and waking them up. The vampire did occasionally display a sense of humor.

Frightening, but true.
