Who: Angel, Cordelia, Gunn, and Wes
Where: The Hotel in New Orleans Where They Are Staying
When: The Morning After Gunn and Cordy's Drunken Bar Crawl
What: Angel being a butt and waking up Cordy and Gunn
Status: Complete :)
Was Angel a little bit evil for even suggesting that they go and wake up Gunn and Cordy bright and early the next morning after their bar crawl across Bourbon Street? Maybe, and even more so for actually doing it. Still, with the having of all of his friends back (and trying even harder to be nice to Wes after he pointed it out that he'd been an ass for, as far as Wes knew, no reason), he was actually feeling kind of happy, which tended to bring out the mischievous side in him. Not the scary Angelus 'I'll turn your daughter into a vampire for a fun trick!' type of mischievous, but the 'go mess with my friends with hangovers' kind.
Also, the meeting with the demons had actually went pretty well the night before. Angel had done his boss thing and Wes had done his negotiating thing that, honestly, is what he was REALLY good at, no matter what he might think otherwise. For someone who used to be so socially awkward, he had gotten very good at talking to people and making them see his point of view. Well, most of the time, anyway, but that slate was now wiped clean. Hopefully.
Still, even that had added to Angel's good mood. And a happy Angel was occasionally an annoying Angel. Well, happy but not *too* happy, and they really needed to use those Wolfram & Hart resources to fix it so that he didn't have to worry about getting too happy, but anyways... The happy/annoying Angel went up to Cordy's door first and knocked on it loudly. "Rise and shine, darlin'!" he yelled in what was probably the WORST southern accent ever, but what did he know? "Time to get up and go to work!"
Spike would have a fit if he saw this, but Angel was in a good mood, so he wasn't thinking about Spike at all.
