Gay-Loving Christians are Blasphemous
One of my oldest best friends from childhood and I had a conversation about the gay marriage ruling earlier today. I was pretty surprised by his response considering that he is my most Christianist friend and a couple of years ago told me that gay marriage was wrong. To protect the identity of my very christian childhood friend from Riverbank, I assigned him a pseudonym "Jimee" to protect his identity.
Me: so I dont know if you know this but according all the social scholarly commentary available on youtube...
Jimee: drum roll. sorry your dots build suspense
Me: gay marriage is going to bring about the apocolypse, decreases economic productivity, decrease the population, will be the end of social security as gays/lesbians can't procreate and therefore won't have children who will work and pay into the system, put a heavier burden on social services/healthcare, turn your children gay, will increase the probability of polygamy, and men marrying dogs...oh and heterosexual marriages will suffer...and your family is now under attack! phew!

Me: I'm so glad there are all these scholars on youtube or else I'd be totally for gay marriage!
Jimee: 1st the "apocolypse" doesn't hinge on that....gay marriages already exist in plenty of other places around the world
Jimee: second, the economy is bad as it is, it will bring people from other states to california that will spend money here, boosting our economy, the population could use a decrease, i don't really know how it will effect social services....it's not contagious so my children can't catch it, polygamy is more popular with straight men, and i don't think the ASPCA or PETA would allow the dog thing
Jimee: oh and mormonism increases the risk of polygamy more than homosexuality. lol
