Wow.. long time no talk LJ.
The past few months in Atlanta have been a complete whirlwind. I finished up The Will Rogers Follies, and proceeded to stage manage a Kander and Ebb review called "2 by 5". Both shows were fairly successful. I've really started to make friends and feel at ease in Atlanta, and it's awesome. Follies ran the entire month of May, and I was really really happy when Trent and Brad came up for a mini va-cay to see the show and spend time with me! We took a tour of the Fabulous Fox theatre, they helped me pull together a bachelorette party, and we had a great time. Seeing them get in their car and go back to the Burg was definitely hard. Especially since I want them both around me ALL the damn time! I so desperately want Trent to move to Atlanta... what can I say.. I'm a selfish friend :). The rest of 2007 is going to go by so fast.. .I start online courses this fall... and I'm cram-packed with work and auditions... speaking of auditions.. I had one last week, and the results are in.
Robyn Reeder will be starring as Roxy Hart in the Rosewater Theatre's production of Chicago! Running every thurs, fri, sat, and sun in September.. possible extension into October as the premier production to a new theatre in the Atlanta metro area.
I'm freaking stoked. The cast is AMAZING. I'm going to be working with some very very talented people, and I am freaking ecstatic about this role.
Next up... Auditions for professional company's production of Peter Pan, the broadway version. Also, American Idol auditions... someone needs to redeem that show after this season.
