My wrist seems to have healed, finally, and my ankle is still only a little sore when I walk around. I'm so glad I'll be better soon - I've felt such an awful bother asking people to do all manner of favours for me.

[Locked to Christine / 40% hackable]

I'd... rather not discuss it.

So. You're better now?

[Oh dear, that sounds bad. Usually Erol likes to complain about and curse the people he dislikes, so this is definitely a bad sign. Christine makes a mental note to proceed with caution.]

Yes, just about. I managed to get down to the Rotisserie earlier.

((Oh, he's relieved she's not pushing it. Erol prides himself on being afraid of nothing - cyborgs aside. What Dr. Mann did absolutely scared the hell out of him.))

Mm. You there now?

((God he needs some TLC, though he'd never admit it.))

No, I went back to my room.

[That's good, because Christine is in the mood to fuss over her boyfriend.]

((Knock knock. Hey, he's not kicking the door, he's knocking like a civilized person. This is unusual and does not bode well.

He also looks like hell. Sleep is for the weak after all, and after the artificial calm and drowsiness enforced by the therapist, Erol wants nothing to do with the natural counterpart.))

[It sure is nice to not have to sit by the door when she's expecting someone! Christine gently tips Lotte off her lap and hurries over to open the door.

Oh dear Lord, Erol looks terrible! Christine was already mildly worried about him, and this only cements her theory that something very bad happened when that man was talking to Erol. She's dying to ask what happened, but knows better than to give in to curiosity. Instead, she smiles and hugs him.]

Hello.

((The hug surprises him. So much so, that he hugs back, the comfort provided by her warmth and scent luring him close.

He stays longer than usual, but all good things must come to an end, and so he eventually pulls away to move restlessly into the room. He needs rest, but resists the lure of sitting down.

After all, he might get too comfortable and fall asleep.))

It's good you're healed.

[Christine didn't expect Erol to hug back, so when he does she smiles broadly into his shoulder. It's good to know she can do little things like this to comfort him, even if she can't go out and fight for him like she wishes she could.

It's blatantly obvious that Erol need some sleep, and Christine decides that, although it may be risky, she needs to get him sat down and relaxed enough to sleep. It's for his own good, after all!

And then she's momentarily derailed by what she considers a wonderfully sweet statement from her beloved.]

Yes, it good to walk easy again.

[Not that she'd dare directly complain about her punishment in front of Erol. She deserved it, after all, and has no right to moan about her pain.]

((Idly he pushes around a few things on her dresser, not really paying attention.))

Mm. Next time - if I lose my temper again... I'll have to remember to avoid that kind of damage.

((It's almost a surety he will do this again, but he's not about to say that.))

[It sounds as if he's expecting that he will have to lose his temper with her again, and Christine is stung by the implication. It was a mistake, and she has learnt her lesson - she would never do anything to make Erol angry! She almost says as much, but holds her tongue at the last moment. No good thinking things like this and then provoking Erol at the first oppertunity, intentionally or no.

What she needs is a new topic, one that is less dangerous. As she looks around the room for inspiration, her gaze lands on Lotte, who is still as tiny as when Christine first found her. Well, they could hardly argue over a rabbit.]

You know, animals not grow. They not meant to, I think. It sweet they stay small.

((Wow, Christine. Even Erol recognizes that the fault was with him, not you. That should tell you something. But, he would appreciate the declaration if you had the guts to say it; he's not in a volatile mood.))

Hm. Akagi said something to that effect recently.

((And for once he isn't inclined to be mean to the bunny.))

I wonder why some stay and rest go...

[Not inclined to be mean to the bunny, you say, Erol? Why, that's simply wonderful, because said bunny has belatedly realised her best friend is here! Hop, hop, down from the bed, hop, hop, hop... Hey hey hey Erol why don't you pet the adorable little baby bunny?

As for Christine, she decides to try and put her sneaky plan into action and sit on the couch, glancing oh-so-subtly between the spare place and Erol. See, she can do subtle when she really wants to!]
