This was done basically to get reacquainted with my paint and brushes beyond the general washes I've been doing of late. I went a lot more quick and dirty than I will for the final versions of the Stalker Variations illustrations, but I'm getting the feel for it back.

This is connected with the ragged shred of a story I posted with another sketch a while back. That brings up another flabby muscle I may begin to exercise at some point...
