the sword, the wand and the mop
The chorewars.com crew really is doing a great job by adding new content to the game. I think there will be many new options in the future and the chore wars will get even better.
I have decided to name the party "Grinders Extraordinary" because it's all about grinding baby and extraordinary stands for all of us geeks, freaks, nerds and whatever (you will find that all on the internet) so what the hell.
I am thinking about each chore and special rules to make this a pleasurable experience for all members.
Here are my rules of thumb:
1. Balance the xp.
2. items can add a lot of fun factor (like book of experience that will give you instantly X ammount of exp, or the elixir of haste that let's you claim doubble exp on one chore)
3. Monster should drop loot that can be collected as sets like Armour of Doom set (Helmet, breastplate, sword of doom) that when collected will boost player exp gain.
4. You can spend gold on items, but it will cost a fortune.
5. You should be able to "win" in chore wars so group should compete over a period of time (like 3 months)
I am just throwing out the ideas, but yes it can be done and it can be very exciting to do the dishes, claim XP for it and hope for that sweet "Wand of Tempolar Master" to drop so you can claim one chore that you didn't do so you can get to the top 3 in your party.
I am old time RPG gamer and old MMORPG addict (I am clean now, but I miss it even if I know it's bad for me...like smoking which I miss too...) so I really like the whole chore wars RPG theme.
