This batch is not drastically, but a LITTLE experimental. You may notice I've actually started using borders, textures, and *gasp* brushes! I'm finally getting unlazy enough to try and learn new things.
Anyway, my brother rented Serenity and I watched it and actually really enjoyed it, and I don't usually enjoy sci-fi. Two of my friends at school are also huge Firefly geeks, and they're slowly but surely, day by day, starting to convince me that I need to rent the series and watch it. Who knows. It just might happen. For now, here are some Serenity icons!
Also, many moons ago when I saw Just Like Heaven in theaters, all I could think about was how it would make great icons. But of course, at that time, I didn't have Photoshop. Now, not only do I have the means, but my life has started slowing down a little, and I was at long last able to icon the very old, no longer even thought of, but very cute romantic comedy.
And, in the spirit of quickly approaching Valentine's Day, Pride and Prejudice! I'm kidding. It had nothing to do with Valentine's Day. But it's Jane Austen, so it's not entirely out of place. Keira also got nominated for an oscar, so there's another reason why this batch fits with the times.
Edit: I also decided to actually make some REAL Valentine's Day icons, so there you are. Cute lovey dovey things to use temporarily until the holiday passes. *kiss*!
