sitting on the balcony of mom's condo, reading up on a python programming book i've bought while i'm down here and also finding some java information to prepare for next semester. i've been doing almost all my writing on the balcony here or no my sister's patio. typing in the screened-in sunshine feels pleasantly hemingway-esque....

been hanging out at the sister's for a couple of days. we went for cocktails with some of her fellow nurses on friday night and yesterday i was made an honorary member of the ya-ya sisterhood--a bunch of friends who are getting to the point where the kids are moving on to jobs and college and are now getting their fun on. quite the nice time ( Read more... )
