was thinking of "so like candy" today, so i had to find a copy. it's a tune from paul mccartney's on-and-off collaboration with elvis costello. a beatle-esque ballad, the song's lyrics are frequently a little heavy-handed but i was listening to the melody and the production and arrangement, i found 11 fairly significant hooks in 4-1/2 minute tune!
