just kidding about sleeping in
...was up about eight, which isn't bad. got up and did a bunch of stuff real quick--basically gathered most of the background and contact info i wanted for my next article and rewarded myself with another lie-down about 8:30. at nine, i conceded defeat to the inevitable and got back to it.
do a little research and e-mail some possible interview subjects. i've got 2-3 weeks so this should be fine. got a bunch of programming homework due today at five. i downloaded a distribution of python for the mac during the week so i should be able to do this at home. gotta check this morning to make sure, though. also need to check to make sure i understand this stuff because help sessions run on campus from 11-1 so i'd still need to be out of here by noon or so.
finally, ned to call academic advising. figured i'd lay off pushing for max credit load 'til i actually took some classes, in case i was rusty. i've seen all my classes and done assignments for all of them too. i want max credit load. this is gonna be much harder to pull off, the longer i take doing it.
...oh and little stuff like laundry. off to a shower and breakfast!
