I thought it was interesting..."We are extremely sensitive to emotional body language, and we react to it without us being aware of it," lead study author Beatrice M.L. de Gelder told AP. According to a study by researchers at Harvard Medical School, when we see someone else adopt a fearful posture, it triggers areas of the brain that express emotion and get the body primed for action--and it's contagious.
So, I went to the doctor this morning and I am now completely drugged up and should be better in 4 days. I can actually smell things now. It's wonderful. I've been spending a lot of money recently and I really need to stop. I'm listening to Barenaked for the Holidays by Barenaked Ladies. It's pretty amusing. They have Hanukkah songs too. The one on now is "Elf's Lament." "That silly red hat just makes the fat man look outrageous..." It makes me smile. I really want to take a nap before class. My medicine said it might cause drowsiness, yes, it actually spoke to me and said it. Okay, maybe not. This is the type of weather that screams "Stay at home, put on the fire, make hot chocolate and enjoy a book until you fall asleep." However, I cannot listen to the weather, I must go to class. Ugh. But, I'm done with Mon/Wed class. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. And I've been calling GCSU and they finally called me back. They are having several weird problems concerning money and financial aid, so I don't have to pay until after Christmas. That's nice, I was thinking I was just gonna have to pay everything by tomorrow... Another Hanukkah song. Okay, so I think it's time to be productive.
